Footwear care
EDLA shoes are handmade in Alicante, Spain, using natural materials and time-honoured techniques.
Storage
Keep in a dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Use the cotton dust bags provided and fill shoes with tissue paper to preserve shape.
Before First Wear
Apply a suitable protective spray based on the material (leather, suede, etc.).
Moisture
If wet, gently blot with a soft cloth and air dry at room temperature, never apply heat.
Cleaning
Please find below our guide on how to clean your shoes.
Leather: Wipe with a soft cloth; use neutral polish if needed.
Suede: Brush gently in the direction of the grain.
Velvet: Use a soft-bristle brush to gently remove dust. Avoid water; blot stains carefully with a clean, dry cloth.
Satin: Gently blot with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid rubbing and keep away from oils and alcohol-based products.
Patent: Avoid contact with ink, alcohol, and solvents.

Hosiery Care
Knitted in Castel Goffredo, Italy, EDLA hosiery is crafted using premium, fine-gauge yarns that are naturally delicate. These sensitively made pieces require gentle handling to preserve their shape, softness, and elasticity.
Washing by Hand (Recommended)
Hand wash in warm water using a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly without rubbing, pulling, or twisting the fabric to protect its delicate structure.
Machine Washing (If Necessary)
If machine washing, use a delicate cycle below 40°C (104°F) and avoid spinning. Place your tights in a lingerie bag or a pillowcase to prevent snagging from other garments (such as those with zippers, buttons, or Velcro).
Drying
Lay flat to dry in a shaded area. Do not tumble dry, iron, or expose to direct heat or sunlight.
Storage
Fold gently and store in a drawer or in a cotton dustbag. Avoid contact with rough surfaces to prevent snags or pulls.
